John Hubbard is the Lead of GlaxoSmithKline's U.S. Security Operations Center where his responsibilities include defending against cyber-attacks, forensic analysis, and reverse engineering of viruses. He is also an instructor and author for the SANS Institute where he teaches network security monitoring and cyber defense to an international audience.John has a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and his past research spans from malware, to car hacking, mobile app security, and the Internet of Things. He is passionate about security and is driven to help teach organizations around the world how to protect their most sensitive data. In his free time he enjoys running, drone racing, and slowly turning his home into a data center.
